thought him as virtuous, chaste and righteous, do not judge him today,
because the enemy (“the evil one”) has actually made you to hate him as a
corrupt and vile person. But with love that is forbearing and
magnanimous, keep in mind only yesterday’s good things and throw away
from your soul today’s hate.
